Boston resident Molly Seidel joins talented field in the event’s 43rdrunning.
BOSTON – Conventures, Inc. today announced an updated field of elite athletes competing in the 2019 Reebok Boston 10K for Women, which will be held on Monday, October 14th at Boston Common. New to the field is University of Notre Dame product and current Boston resident Molly Seidel, who won the 2015 NCAA Championship for 10,000 meters. Last month, the 25-year-old won the Lone Gull 10K in Gloucester, MA in a time of 33:40, and last year placed second in the USA Cross Country Championships, running 33:22.1.
Seidel will face a talented field headlined by four-time champion Molly Huddle, 21-year-old Iveen Chepkemoi of Kenya, 2015 World Championships bronze medalist Emily Infeld, and many others, including Chelsea Blaase of Rochester Hills, Mara Olson of San Francisco, and Paige Stoner of Charlottesville, who is making her road 10K debut.
Media credentials: Interested attending media must reserve media credentials by Friday, October 11th, and contact Rebecca Daniels at 617-204-4233 or [email protected]. Media access at the start line, finish line, and on the lead press truck will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. A media tent will be located near the finish line and available for pre-race and post-race reporting.
